The SVS workshop “Making Bridges”
August 18-19, 2001 at Embilipitiya
The SVS workshop was held at Embilipitiya Mahaweli Development Center. There were more than 50 teachers from Pasgoda and Embilipitiya areas. The topics of this workshop were based on teachers' requests. SVS invited lecturers from different fields. Despite having to travel long distances and dealing with power cuts, we had great days and built strong and solid “bridges” in many ways. The purpose of this workshop was for everyone to become a bridge developing preschool education for all children.
